A little Christmas Snow came to San Jose this year....
I was cleaning cages yesterday and found one of my 2009 AN-FL babies had shed and is now sporting some white scales. Kind of surprising as I would have thought the Calico trait would be recessive or there would be more of them. None of my 2008's have shown any white and none of the other 2009's have either. This one, now named Snowy is the only one so far and also the only one to brown out. May be related? Also, she had been sold and the buyer backed out. Phew, she almost got away from me.
Any way you slice it, I now appear to have two Calico's!!
