Has anyone ever pondered...

.... the effects of a camera flash on a reptile's vision?

I finally got the pair if 50% het Toffees I mentioned I believe last week, and really couldn't be more excited! After helping them both with shed removal last night, (eye caps included. Yea!) They both settled into their new digs quite nicely. I woke up to one who apparently love last night's soak so much he/she decided to soak amongst itself, and the other tucked away nicely in her hide.

There had been reports of one striking at the glass with any movement in the room, dlbut I saw none of that at all, even while peeling skin off the feces/eyes!

Both tanks got a good scrubbing and P.A.M. treatment, and are now on paper towels, so I can see if any mites do show up. I saw no signs of any on them or in the water dishes, but I'm not taking any chances..

Pics will be up soon, which is what prompted this post. Do you think repeated camera flashes affect a snake at all??

Let the conversations..... BEGIN!
