Parasites - what kind?
So, i haven't actually noticed any kind of mites or parasites on any snake...but I worry about my newly aquired snakes from the pound. There is no reptile vet anywhere close to me. I'm going to have to save up a little and take a trip, and address all my issues at once *lol*
But in the meantime...how can i determine if there may be a parasite problem in my snake? I see nothing...but what about internal parasites? Any signs i should be aware of? Working on the retained eye caps, proper sheds, and gaining weight. No runny noses or goopy eyes. No wheezes or pops. Nothing, at a glance, wrong with poo or any difficulty doing it.
What else should I be looking for?
