Wow, silence in the house!! Not a common thing in my world. My family decended on us last thursday and our itty bitty house was thrumming!! Almost all work on the enclosure came to a stop (life goes crazy when mamma arrives!)
However, all ends well. I got to watch mamma squirm when I told her I was setting up for a snake that eventually tops 4-5' (she thinks that is rather big
) She eventually came around citing "that if she could end up liking Misty (an Iguana we had for many years) she could end up liking a snake. Then of course she had to tell the story of my trying to sneak a wild-caught garter snake home from vacation when I was like 9!!
Anyways, on top of it all, when she left yesterday, she took my son with her for a 2 week beach vacation!!!
Only down side is apparently, I am incapable of sleeping in even when childless!!
