Question Swimming pool paint? Nylene?

In my neverending search for a waterproof sealant, I stumbled across some swimming pool paint at Home Depot. It says it is suitable for pools and ponds, a rubberized acrylic based paint that comes in white or blue. Now I have been unable to come up with any info on the safety of using such a substance, and the guys at Home Depot weren't very helpful (in fact they gave me some incorrect info which we luckily caught and informed them). Can anyone help me out with this stuff? Unfortunately I cannot remember the brand it was I really like the epoxy pour that was mentioned in the previous thread, but that is only good for the top and bottom, the sides and backs have vents Now what I have been considering is the Varathane colours in plastic (interior exterior, not melamine formula), with one coat, and then going over that with a clear, waterbased finish such as minwax polycrylic since from what I understand, the stuff offgasses like crazy. But this swimming pool paint really perked my interst. Also, I saw it briefly mentioned in an article on corallus.com, a sealnt called Nylene that is used to seal wooden aquariums. It also states that they have never heard of it used in herp enclosures. Does anyone know if this might work? Where would I be able to purchase such a product?
