Caring for eggs

So as I said in my last thread we were given 2 Texas rat snakes and ended up with eggs totally unexpected. We have the incubator set for 83 degrees and humidity is 80. I'm thinking that's way too high but my hubby says it should be as close to a hundred as possible. So we go back and forth and its driving me nuts. About to have a domestic over it even
Now I noticed 1 egg is looking deflated another on its way
I'm looking around there's so much on breeding to read but not incubation. So just looking for confirmation that its the humility that's the issue.

So frustrated
