Calcium with D3

So I know that calcium with D3 is toxic (at least for leopard geckos) and unfortunatly I didn't know this when I bought my little container of it. Now I am the type that doesn't like to waste stuff if I don't have to. So my question is this:

If I limit my gecko girls intake of the D3 calcium to say once a week and then remove the little dish afterwards would that still be toxic for them?
