Question about feeding hots F/T
My understanding of the snakes use for venom is this
1: defense, strike a threat in the hopes of deterring it/killing it
2: debilitate/kill a prey item to ensure minimal injury to the snake during the feeding process
3: aid in digestion
My question is, when you feed a snake a F/T animal the venom doesn't circulate through the prey items system. Does this negatively affect digestion?
And when you are milking a snake, do you give it time to rebuild the venom prior to the feeding for the same reason?
