Quick Question regarding Infant Childrens Python

G.day,

I have recently purchased my 1st snake, a childrens python. its about 3 weeks old and i have a concern that im hoping someone will be able to help me with.

when i purchased the snake the lady at the pet shop advised me to handle the infant as much as possible so it got used to humans, however the bloody thing wont stop attacking me when i pick it up or move towards it. and im not handling it incorrectly or anything its just being a bitch...

is this normal and if so when will it stop cause its really giving me grief. and if it does not stop attacking and biting and i am not able to handle it as much as i should how will this effect it when its older and bigger and i try to pick it up?

any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

thankyou.
