First pairing for the season...

Well its that time of year again! WooHAAA! Jack has been going crazy in his cage the last week or so with constant pacing and racing so I figure now is the time to make pairings. To bad Jack doesn't get any action. I feel bad for the guy. Sonny gets both the ladies this year. I put Sonny in with Golden Eye last night and this morning at 7:30 they were locked up. Here are pics of each...

Golden Eye

He will also have this girl and I am VERY excited about this pairing.

He hasn't met her yet but I sure hope he thinks she is as good looking as I do!

Golden Eye produced a small clutch of 4 WP's ealier this year. Her weight has more than doubled and she is over 7 1/2 pounds now! She is enormous! To me it looks as though she has already started forming follicles and will have a huge clutch this year. I have tried palpating but I suck at it and gave up. I'd hate to jinx myself but I think this will be the season I get my first BIG clutch.

Now a ? for you. How do you recomend breeding one male to two females. I am sure several ways would be successful but I am wanting to hear someone else's input.

I plan on taking him out of the females cage every three days for a couple days of rest before being introduced to a different female. If I see them lock up I plan on seperating them the next day, figuring the deed has been done for that three days. Any input would be great!
