maybe early in the shed stages???

well since i got my ball she has been the sweatest thing.. active, nice, ect ect.. well i go to pull her out just a few min ago and BOOM she strikes.. well this is kinda scary for me.. this is my first snake this size and i didnt raise her, so i am aware of her size.. if she grew up around me it would be a different story.. ive never really even held a snake this big before her ( deprived, i know) but she struck 3 times.. never hit me.. but scary none the less.. after about 5 min of leaving her door open i finally got up enough courage to try again, and she was fine... once again sweet as soon as she got out.... but when i brought her outside i noticed she is lookin a little "hazy" on the back and she seems to have 1/3 of her left eye bluish grey. i know these are eye caps ect ect but have never heard of anyone catching them as there starting.. is possible she is startin to go into shed, and just not developed full eye caps yet or do i just need a snake hook??? will she develop both eye caps at once or can one start before the other..
