Have you ever done something herp related, innocent task or whatever, that didn't quite turn out the way you wanted or thought it would?

Have you ever fed snake sheds to superworms (zoophobas)? Some time back I read that they love to eat the skin, so I've tried it. Usually they eat it in a matter of hours.
Last week I decided to give a milksnake skin to the younger superworms, about half grown, 1 inch or so in length. They probably didn't know what they were supposed to do with it.... about 12 hours later when I looked in the drawer, I found they'd all piled into the skin! About 2000 small supers writhing inside a snake skin. Interesting sight.
I would have taken pictures but it was a bit too gross, even for me.
