Feeders become Pets

Well, well, well.... I purchased 6 feeder goldfish today for my turtles to feed on. I strangly becomed attatched to this particular group, they range from less than one inch to two inches, three are pure white, one all gold, and the others are mixed colors. I placed them in the turtle tank, and the bond continued. It was strange of me to feel like this, though I just placed them in a 10 gallon tank for now, with brown gravel, large rocks, and plants, the tank was originally empty so why not keep them? Any one have any tips? There are also two apple snails in the tank to control things. I am considering placing one female betta in there as well, what do you think? Ive kept them in the past, though never indoors....
