This cresty is almost 5 months old and for now it looks female. There's not the slightest indication of 'turning male', but we all know how that can change overnight.
Sometimes he/she looks red, but most of the time the base colour is more towards orange. When all fired up, he/she is an intense reddish orange almost bordering on bi-colour. There are just a few very faint white spots but they seem to be fading.
