snakegal12345 Member Join Date: Oct-2003 Location: Victoria Canada Posts: 488	Polar bear swims I'm going to my 8th ever polar bear swim in about 15 minutes. Anyone else go to these things? This year I'm doing the one at Elk lake in Victoria.First time went was when i was 3 and my dad dunked me into English bay in Vancouver. I'm not the typical polar swimmer I actually go swimming instead of running in and out. I usually go in for between 5-10 minutes but one year I went in for 15 minutes. Great fun after the first couple minutes untill you get out.
