heating for a crested enclosure
ok, i'm not nuts. i know that they dont need much heat, but my downstairs can run pretty cold. one crested is in a screened enclosure, approximately 18 x 24 x 30. i have a 60W nite bulb on top (above the screen) and the bottom of the cage is usually in the mid 60's which seems low. should i put a human heating pad underneath and let the heat rise?
i also have an enclosure almost done that i made by using some sterlites laid on end and made a front for it w/ a door. that gives me some better options as supplemental heat.. perhaps some heat tape on the back (ex-bottom) of the tub?
i hope i have explained clearly what i mean.. pls ask any questions if i am not making any sense.. lol.
