The only time I have any use for cheat codes is what they're originally put in the game for: allowing you to quickly move through a game to test a specific feature during development.
Can't stand it when I see someone unwrap the package, load the game up, and immediately enter cheat codes to play rather than actually try playing it.
My stepson does this and I've actually had to step in and tell him he's not allowed to visit cheat sites and such any more. Mainly because he cheats like hell in multiplayer games though, and I find that low.
I gotta wonder about the cheat codes being "gay" comment though... I've never heard of any that alter ones sexual preference. Just what was your friend asking you move up, down, left, right, tug, tug?
