Mite questions. Sorry.

I know that you guys are probably sick of replying to topics about mites but I have researched and the questions I'm going to ask I couldn't find anywheres.

I'm going to use the Nix treatment and I read up as much as I could about it. When you spray the snakes with Nix are you supposed to wash it off after a certain amount of time? If so, how long do you keep the Nix on before washing it off? Same question with the cage and cage furniture.

Do you just go out and buy a gallon of bottled water and put the Nix in? I wasn't too sure about that when I read it.

I have a plastic hide inside their cage right now and I was wondering if it would be safe to Nix that and then put it back in since it's plastic and there isn't anywheres for the mites to hide.

Those are the only questions that I can think of right now. I have to go out and buy everything tomorrow since today is labor day (I found out that they have mites last night).

Sorry that I'm asking these. Hopefully you guys won't mind me coming back if I think of any more questions though.
