Question Traveling Eggs

Ok Ladies and Gents. Here's a situation i have. I am 3 weeks from a 1000km road trip. I am moving to Ottawa from Fredericton.
My problem is this...my female honduran has just had a pre-lay shed on a double clutch. Yes, she has approx 10 eggs that i can feel and i suspect she will lay them in the next week or so.

Do you think there is a slim chance that they could make the drive if i can keep a steady temperature for the trip. I figure they will end up scrambled but if the concensus is moderate, i will attempt it.

Roy: Can you recall if she doubled for you? I wonder if she is double clutching because she's had a couple years rest?

Thanks for your input.

Brian
