Hondo family tree -- pics

Still waiting for my eggs to hatch - so with time on my hands I am hassling my snakes and taking more pics.

These are my honduran hatchlings from last year and the parents

the female - a pic from earlier this year - she is a big girl with nice color - just wish she had a bit less black tipping, but she produced nine nice eggs this year by a ghost.

the male - bred by Henry P - a really orange male and very clean for his age - almost no black tipping just wish his narrow bands were wider. He got to breed our other female this year - but it was a mixed clutch of slugs and eggs that died early - so no babies from him this season

the female 2003 baby - nice color but she remains small, not the best feeder - taking a couple fuzzy mice or pink rats per meal - still won't tackle anything with real fur! Frustrating, but that's the way it goes!

her brother - a feeding machine - tackling adult mice and similar sized rats with gusto - amazes me how much individual variation there is when they are managed the same way.

thanks for looking,

mary v
