Help! Ball Python at Large!

Hi all,

It appears my ball python has decided to make a run for it.

I last saw him in his cage two days ago. He's your regular ball python and hides alot so when I don't see him for a few days I think nothing of it. I realised that last time I tried to feed him, his lid wasn't secure, but the lid was still closed so I didn't think anything of it, but I opened up the cage anyways cause I needed to increase the humidity, and when I lifted up the hides to see which one he was in, he wasn't in either of them! So of course Panic sets in.

I don't know exactly how long he has been gone. I live in a three bedroom basement suite that is quite messy so there are alot of places for him to hide. His cage was in my room so I obviously checked under and around everything there first, but no snake.....I looked as much as I could around places like the fridge, stove, computers etc where it would be warm.....the really crappy part is we have been leaving the sliding glass door open alot ...but it's in the living room I'm pretty sure we would have seen a slow moving snake...but ya never know...

is there any way to set up some sort of trap? He's bound to be cold...I'm really worried about him.

Anyone have any ideas on how to find/catch him?

Nicole
