Northern Pinesnakes

Am I then only one here that loves these snakes?

They are BIG (for a Colubrid) and they hiss!

I have a 1.1, We bred them the year before last she layed 8 eggs we have 8 hatch. She only missed the one feed all the time she was gravid (you could see why when she produced the DUCK EGG sized eggs)

They must have made up 40% of her boby weight in the end.

Both the parents and 7 of the 8 offspring are puppy dog tame, 1 is evil so i passed if on to a friend that can cope with a 7 feet plus evil snake.

I sold the others to friend in my herp soceity of swapped them for other snakes with friend.

my male goes with me when i do reptile talks and displays and he is as good as gold.

Clem
