Wandering garters *pics*

Snapshots of a trio of Thamnophis elegans vagrans we found during our recent camp trip at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. Was hoping to find some here as I have yet to see one this year. They seem to stay real close to the river system. True enough, these ones were found <100m from the shore of Lake Diefenbaker.

Nice, wide-striped male.

We did find another gravid female (with an infected eye) but didn't have the camera handy.
