Baseball

[Chelydraman]

A Scottish guy who has been living in America for a couple of years decides to go to his first baseball game. He is sitting in the crowd when the first batter comes up misses a few pitches then hits a line drive. The crowd around him stands up and yells "Run, Run!!" He thinks this is great the cheering. The next batter comes up and hits the bal right down the middle and everyone stands up again yelling "Run, Run!!" and he stands with them. He is getting really excited now and starts to cheer with them until the 5th batter comes up. The pitcher throws 5 pitches and the umpire calmly stands up and says "walk". At this the scottish guy stands up and yells "Run Ye lazy bum Run!".

Everyone looks at him funny and snickers and he sits down in embarassment. The guy next to him leans over and whispers "He can't run he's got 4 balls". The Scottish guy then stands up and yells "Walk with pride lad!".
