Now, as you can plainly (tee hee) see, this is a garter and a Plains Garter,
Thamnophis radix, at that. Lovely li'l critter and as you can see a good eater.
Garters make good little pets as they are small, pretty, and good eaters. This little guy is eating the scraps from extras I thawed out.
Unfortunately, there are very few CB out there. I do know that Jonathan Crowe produces true CBB (other species not plains) and Phil Blais works with flame race garters. Buyer beware when it comes to garters as some may try to pass off W/C as CB or CBB.
Take a load of the stripe!!! He has an excellent personality, not too flightly and not musky!
