Anole Allergies

Are there anywoods that anoles are allergic to, or are harmfull to them, they are from the states, so i would imagine that there are few if any.

ALSO, can an anole eat a mealie beetle, or do the beetles have any chemical defenses, or anything like that that i should worry about if i feed my anole one of them.

Im redoing my cages, so i just want to make sure, This ios the same anole that i saved at petco, hes doing great, and when i move him i think i may get hima a cage mate.
