bubba Member Join Date: Feb-2004 Location: midwest US Posts: 130	melanistic garters A couple of decades ago I was able to buy a couple of melanistic gartersnake from an individual in Canada. I am assuming these snake are protec ted now. If not, is it possible to have these snakes shipped to the U.S? I always thought these snakes were simply amazing.
