soaking for days ??

Hey, well my big 7 foot male who finally ate again for me then climbed into his water bowl and hasn’t come out since ? It doesn’t make any sense? His cage has not changed same temps humidity he’s always had. But he’s never soaked before and now he’s been in it for like 2 days without moving. He doesn’t look like he’s going into shed. His cage has not changed in months. Is it possible that because he just ate after refusing for 6 weeks that it’s not sitting right and he’s just more comfortable in the water?? That’s the only thing I can think of. Any opinions would be great,
