how to weigh?

hi,

I haVe been reading a few posts tonight (havent visited in a little while)
i am curious to know what eveyone is weighing their animals with?

also,
I am curious to know if my cresteds are in the proper size range. my largest is 8 months old and 4.5 in SVL (no tail)
the second one i have I just got 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I was told it was nearly 6 months is 3.25 inches SVL or nearly 5 in with tail
is suspect that the animal is younger than what I was told though.
so.. are these sizes that fall into an acceptable range?

Adam
