Mothers day spring snake count
Friday and Saturday were great days for herping, but the snow yesterday put an end to our outdoor activities. It is melting today, so we will be back out to check the numbers through out the week.
We have another group of people heading out here this coming weekend, so we are hoping the weather will co-operate.
The snakes usually move away from the hibernacula by the end of May, but by mid-September they are back. The fall count is scheduled for September 17-19, for anyone planning to attend.
