BC PEOPLE i need suggestions

hey all. i live in the lower mainland of BC (abbotsford to be exact) and im planning a field herping trip for the weekend of april 30th. the only problem is that i havent decided where to go yet. thats where you guys come in. where do yall think would be the best place to go within about 6 or 7 hrs of where i live? im looking for snakes more than anything else. bull/gophers in particular as ive never seen a wild one before. im willing to drive anywhere from spences bridge to penticton/kelowna, oliver/osoyoos, 100 mile, kamloops, anywhere really.... id just like a few suggestions from people who know so our trip will be worth it. i will be taking lots of pics and posting them up here. so what do you guys think???
