boa feeding problems

Hi everyone, My 7 ' male BCI, doesn’t seem like he wants too eat , he’s very active and friendly but has turned down the last 2 meals, and I'm trying again right now, he used too snap food right off the tongs, (f/t jumbo rats, warmed up), but the last 2 times he shied away from them when I moved it with the tongs, I though maybe he’s too shy and I should leave it there but that doesn’t seem too work either the rats are still there in the morning. Tonight again he shied away from the food when I moved it around with the tongs, so I left it alone with him, but he doesn’t seem interested or even too notice it. Now I know my will refuse food some times, for no reason and just start back up, I'm assuming that its similar with boas, but thought id check too make sure. I'll add his temps/caging are fine, he had a perfect shed about a week ago, and other then not eating he isn't under weight or unhealthy, any other reasons he might not be eating, or should I just not worry about it and try again next week.
