I agree with Jaylyn on this one.... it is a total myth! You DO NOT need to breed the female chams to increase their lifespan or to prevent dystocia etc etc etc. It's old information that you are hearing. Unfortunately I still hear it too! ARGH!
My point is tho... if she does develope eggs (and it is a possibility without being bred) she will not retain them if you provide a proper nest box.
