Lasiodra parahybana cage cleaning

My BF cleaned Ned's cage today! He is a Brazilian Birdeater...we think he is male, but maybe female after looking at it's last molt. Anyways things went really easy and Ned is nice and calm normally. We got some great pics and size referrance...he has really grown since being a qaurter sized sling!

Here is in the new cage (organic type soil substrate. washed) with a qaurter outside the cage for size referrance:

Just molted a few weeks ago....appetite is coming back too! He hasn't eating there for a bit but is back to himself/herself. (p.s. the wire in the background is obviously not in HIS cage LOL. Its second protection wall on a rescue iguana's cage....very strong iguana and I have a very curious young dog! hehehe)

Thanks for looking
