Hey all,
Well, two good things came from the herp concentration camp that I used to work at. These two seemed to be immune to the crap that went on there, and I just had to bring them home, and then proceed to bathe them, and treat them for mites.
I picked them specifically for their patterns and colors. To my knowledge, they were bred by Phillip Bergmann in Calgary.
Here's Aphrodite:
Needless to say, she was chosen for her bright tail. These pictures do her tail no justice at all; I've seen Surinames with duller tails than she has.
She also has a couple of aberrancies that I thought were really neat. If you look at the left side of the first picture, she's got two saddles connected along the back... and about 2 saddles up, 2 perfect circles. So she's not quite striped, not quite a circle back... but a little of both.
On the opposite end, here's Zeus:
Zeus was chosen for his distinct LACK of a pattern. I loved his almost black tail, and his thin-saddled, faded pattern. He makes me think I have an Anery. Hey, it's the closest I've got right now!
Thanks for looking.
