Ok, I used rust-oleum (it's red) (sp?) protective enamel coating the first time. That wouldn't stop off gassing. so we stripped it best we could and put polyurathane on it...there is still red on there from the enamel..the polyurathane is offgassing and it smells the same as when the enamel was off gasing! I am about ready to just throw this thing away.
How long should polyurathane off gass? I have the UTH on it now. And before then it still smelled a LITTLE like the aquarium sealant (vinegar smell) now it smells like the enamel offgassing!!!
any advice would be great...
