Anacondas are listed as Boinae( <a href="http://www.embl-heidelberg.de/~uetz/families/Boidae.html">Boinea listings in the EMBL</a> ), otherwise known as boas. They are as well the largest new world species of snake. Under them I would agree that Argentines and some Bcc species to be the next largest, but averages for total length are different. The largest Boa constrictor ssp that I know of was a B.c.o.
