2nd hybrid question for experienced breeders only
I'm always willing to put my genetics knowledge to the test. Never being into hybrids limits my knowledge to % this species to % other species. My mind tells me the when hybridizing snakes there wouldn't be any issue which species was male and which was female in a 50/50 animal. Still have you that breed hybrids ever noticed differences that aren't talked about? I'm considering possibly trying a Leucistic Elaphe obsoleta lindheimeri X gutata (amel) using a male texas rat but am curious if there could be differing results crossing the other way. Thanks for any help.
