Okay, I know the opinion on sand as substrate is pretty universally negative, but hear me out: I cover the bottom of the tank in large roundish (flattish) rocks. I will the cracks with fine sand, and feed the leos out of a food dish. This would be for adult leos who would have access to a dish of calcium all the time. What do you think? Still to risky? Zoe
