I just got a lovely proven pair of Arizona mountain kingsnakes. The male is more orange than red and his orange bands are broad and unbroken by black. The black bands are very thin. The "white" bands are creamy.
The female is redder. Her red bands are also unbroken and wide and the black bands are narrow, but not quite as narrow as those of the male. Both have two large red spots on their heads.
I am taking name suggestions.
So far, I'm leaning toward Aragorn and Arwen. You know...Aragorn, the king?
