Question Cage Size?

I've been highly considering a Ball Python for my next Boid. I love boids even though I only have one. And I more specifically love smaller pythons.

I have no clue on the proper size of the enclosure though. I would want one for a full grown ball. My Spotted Python is in an enclosure that's 3 feet long, one foot high and one foot wide.

Would that be reasonable? I usually like to get an enclosure that's as long as the snake, but I heard that Balls will not thrive in that.

So what would be good measurements for a ball enclosure. And I am well aware of the fact that you need alot of hiding places because they're shy.
