I found an extra Florida king in this egg!!! I had seen the egg pip. A hatchling came out. I picked up the empty egg to throw it out, and noticed it was heavy. I took a second look, and found this hatchling in a completely separate membrane inside the single egg. I tore open the egg more exposing the other hatchling for a picture.
The egg it self was misshapen and had a grayish ring around it, the ring was right where the second membrane was, now I know why it was there.
Last year I hatched out twin Pueblans. They came out at the same time and I believe shared the same egg sack. Twins. But this is two completely separate egg sacks in one egg. Twins??????
What ever it is I thought it was kinda cool.
