Thumbs up Progress Report

Well I'm pleased to announce I had my first 30 minute handling session with Chaos yesterday and it went VERY well. She didn't have a tantrum when I pulled her out of the cage, but as soo as she was fully out, there was the whole wriggling every which was with musk coming out. So I took a towel and put it on my lap (lol I don't need to be bathed in musk) and I sat on my bed while my friend cleaned her cage for me (he REFUSED to hold her lol).

Sooo...after about three minutes of tantruming, she just stopped. She was still all active, slithering around from one hand to the other. But she was calmer, and sometimes she stopped all together and just sat there. I think it helped that my hands were REALLY warm.

So I just stroked her and I was telling her what a pretty snake she is (if anyone makes fun of me, I'll hunt you down lol) and she was generally very very calm

Of course, when she got back into her tank again, she wanted nothing to do with me! lmao
