Good morning all,
I just got here and so far like what I see!!! My Name is Pat Glazener-Cooney. I am a Pastor serving a Church in the Thornbrush country of South Texas. I love being here as I can Road Hunt (just catch and release!) within ten minutes of my office! Best find yet-a 24" Coral Snake. I have been keeping snakes for 40+ years. Had some dumb luck breeding Cal. kings in 1969-71. I grew up in Southern Cal. and, before becoming enlightened, raped the countryside with everyone else. I have seen collectors fight over Rosy boas on White Water Road. I have been interogated on S2 and S3 in Anza Borrego by Rangers. I have been shot at by a Ranch manager that didn't know I had the owners permission to hunt on the ranch and found out rock salt hurts like heck!!! I had the privilege of learning/collecting at the side of Frank Retes(we graduated from the same High School) before he became the World's foremost Goanna breeder! But, as is usual for a Pastor, we get too wordy. I now keep Bulls(my favorites), Corns and Kings (all and only captive bred) in a house with 3 kids and a wife who is also a Pastor.
