I didn't realize this section was here, so I might as well say hi even though I've been here.
I'm Ash (she/her), and I'm a sophomore in college now, and have recently purchased my first snake, a spotted python named Amara (She's from Flynn Reptiles, he was very kind and well put together and answered quickly when I texted him questions)
I plan on getting a Plains Hognose next summer once I switch apartments and move in with someone who likes snakes and can therefore be kept in an appropriate quarantine (thanks to you all giving me advice on that).
I am an avid member of my Herpelogical Society and do education events with them (until COVID that is), and I am doing my best to educate myself on reptiles and possibly raise my snakes to be ambassador animals for the club.
