What is this snake in the photo?

Hello SSNAKESS forum users. Please help me identify the snake in the attached photo. It was quite small. He head was no more than an inch wide. As you can see, this snake had tucked itself into the vinyl siding along the side of my home, and about five feet up above the ground. (Isn't that odd behavior for most snake species?) It was small enough to fit into the cracks in my vinyl siding as a hiding place. It looked juvenile, but I don't know enough about snakes to know what is juvenile or full-grown.

Whatever your answer is, I hope that this is NOT a poisonous snake. By the way, I live in northeastern Florida (Gainesville).

Hopefully, this information will help with your identification. I am truly grateful for your help. Thank you! Please post your answers as soon as possible. Much appreciated!
