Breeding season or new environment

Ok so I moved my ball python from his enclosure which was half of a 4ft enclosure boarded half up to make him more secure with the heating matt covering half it was 2 by 2 in total.

He is now in a 3f by about 1.10f. The heat mat is now covering a smaller area. And a week after the move he started acting strange. His first week he was his usual pet rock self moving from point a to point b. But after the first week he has started looking around and stopped eating, this is only at night and his movements are not rapid. The second he sees me he comes over to and wants to get out.

Now going off the time of year I'm curious if you think this is the environment change, because now he is down stairs. Or breading behaviour, he is 450 grams of that helps
