Hello from Ontario
Hey everyone,
New snake owner here from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Animals of all types have always been a passion of mine. As a child I owned several pets, including cats, dogs, a guinea pig, a parakeet, assorted fish aquatic dwarf frogs, fire belly newts, as well as a leopard gecko (because my parents disallowed a snake); this is the first snake for either of us now that we are on our own.
My girlfriend and I just recently purchased a male yearling red tail boa (BCI) and we are very excited to watch him grow over the next several decades.
Currently we have him in an ExoTerra (36”x18”x18”) naturalistic enclosure, but I am already planning on building a custom enclosure for the little guy.
