UTH question
Received my Ultratherm UTH yesterday. After getting it all taped up and turned on I was disappointed on how little heat it seemed to put out. Decided to wait until the next morning so it had time to warm up.
Woke up today and it’s still the same dull warmness. Is it defective? I’m feeling directly on the tape from underneath so there is no chance it would be sufficient through the glass on the other side, especially with substrate.
I did notice the directions say no more than 1/4” of substrate can be on top. Is that normal for UTH? That’s pretty thin. This thing was like $50. Pretty disappointed
