Corn Snake problem

My situation is very weird, I moved my corn into a new enclosure and he went without eating for two weeks, he randomly started eating again (fed two mice that week) and then he became opaque. I thought all was well however now (few days of opaque) I'm seeing him breath through the mouth, or open his mouth a bit, he's always been a bit stuffy when he's shedding however the last time I noticed it went away afterwards. Never has he opened his mouth however so I'm worried now.

Like NEVER have I seen any kind of mucus or substance on his body/face/enclosure ANYWHERE so I'm hesitant to go to a vet plus as I said he just ate very well.

Also I don't know but this could have been the reason but he when I first saw him open his mouth he did have some aspen (wet aspen from water bowl) on/slightly in his mouth I had to pick out with feeding tweezers.

I guess I'm just worried if I have to take him to the vet/if he's knfected or is it just a dry shed.
